A board organizes contacts into process stages. Each card represents a contact within that board. Stages might be New, Contacted and Qualified; adapt them to your operation.

Work with a board

  1. Open Contacts, choose board view and select the board.
  2. Review stages and the contacts in each.
  3. Open a card to inspect the contact record.
  4. Move the card to the appropriate stage to update progress. You need permission to modify the board.
From table view, select contacts for a bulk move to a stage. Check the background job before repeating it.

Automate moves

Agents can move contacts when the corresponding tool is configured. In a text agent, choose the board, enable stages and describe when to use each. Voice agents have post-call board configuration. Inbox automations can also add, move or remove contacts from stages. Avoid conflicting rules that move the same contact on the same event.

Stage, assignee and deadline

Moving a card does not by itself assign a person, schedule a call or create a task. If you use routing or SLAs, check the rules for that stage.
